Ed sponsored and led a Latino Club for Latino youth to help with life skills
such as team building, self confidence, and how to build a better community. They used acting as a way to express situations. He got into theater when he took an “improv” theater class to better help his 6th grade camp goers. They performed “Thursday Night Live“ skits. He has a passion for the Arts.

Ed moved to La Misión in 2015 and jumped right into helping the community. He was part of the Advisory Committee for Blues Against Hunger Society, Rotary Club, and participated in the beginning stages of what we know as LMPAC (La Misión Performing Arts Center). He has rejoined as interim President of LMPAC. He has assisted in community events to bring theater to the children of La Misión and surrounding neighborhoods. Ed has had a great passion for golf. He works as a Marshall for BajaMar Golf course. After a difficult accident, Ed adopted a dog named Maya. Maya has changed his life. Between the golf course and taking Maya for walks on the beach, Ed puts time into planning events and fundraisers for LMPAC.
